Rohit Sharma's magic knock has helped Mumbai Indians to overcome the challenge of Royal Challengers Bangalore. Rohit Sharma, though he just missed a century, scored 94 runs and guided Mumbai Indians to 46-run victory against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in IPL on Tuesday.
RCB captain Virat Kohli's aggressive knock of 92 not out from 62 balls ended in futility as RCB could not turn it into its victory.
Elected to bat first, Mumbai Indians scored 213 for 6 with Rohit (94 in 52 balls) and opener Evin Lewis (65 in 42 balls). Mumbai Indian bowler Krunal Pandya made a spectacular performance (3 wickets from 28) to limit RCB at 167 for 8 in 20 overs. The only solace to cherish was Kohli's big knock which includes 4 sixes and 7 fours.
This is RCB's third defeat in IPL out of a total four games. (UNI)
