Japanese shuttler Akane Yamaguchi won the BWF Super Series title by beating Indian player P.V. Sindhu in the final on Sunday. With this failure, Sindhu loses her dream of becoming the first Indian player to win the top medal in Dubai.
In a one and half hour long match, the luck swung from one court to another. But finally Yamaguchi ruled the court and won the title 21-15, 12-21, 19-21.
Sindhu won the first game by taking out all kinds of aggression 21-15. But Yamaguchi took advantage of tiring Sindhu and won the second agam 21-12. Third game was a big tough battle for both the players. Yamaguchi took advantage of a tiring Sindhu and made sure her sharp smashes were far from Sindhu’s defence 21-19.
