The journey so far has been indeed fulfilling and worthy.
The unprecedented growth and transformation that the State witnessed in the last four and half decades has remained the hallmark of this democratic transition. Today, Sikkim stands tall among the States and is working in synergy with the Union Government to chart its journey to greater heights of progress and prosperity. ‘' Today, we have to foresee the future needs and chart the course of action compatible to the changing dynamics of the economy and societal priorities. It should be an outline that helps the people of Sikkim to constructively and positively contribute to the growth and development of this beautiful Himalayan State simultaneously contributing to the process of Nation building. Sikkim has all along exemplified national unity, integrity and patriotism,” the Governor added. (UNI)
