Jaipur, May 31 : Seventy-six more Coronavirus cases were detected and one died in Rajasthan on Sunday, taking the infection tally to 8,700 and fatalities to 195. Of the new cases, Jaipur recorded 21 cases, Jhalwar 14, Bharatpur 12, Jhunjhunu seven, Kota six, Rajsamand and Dholpur five each, Ajmer 3, Udaipur two and Tonk one, a Health department bulletin said.

As per the bulletin, 1982 cases have been registered in Jaipur so far, followed by 1476 in Jodhpur, 543 in Udaipur, 458 in Kota, 455 in Pali, 446 in Nagaur, 356 in Dungarpur, 339 in Ajmer,247 in Bharatpur, 202 in Sikar, 176 in Chittorgarh, 162 in Jalore,157 in Sirohi, 140 each in Bhilwara and Rajsamand, 131 in Jhunjhunu.

Besides, 104 cases each were reported in Bikaner and Churu, 99 in Barmer, 85 in Banswara, 74 in Jaisalmer, 58 in Dholpur, 53 in Alwar, 50 in Dausa, 30 in Hanumangarh, 20 in Sawai Madhopur, 16 in Karauli, 15 in Baran, 13 in Pratapgarh, six in Ganganagar and two in Bundi. Of 3,95,490 samples sent for testing, 3,82,315 negative and reports of 4,482 are awaited. So far, as many as 5,099 patients have been discharged after recovery. (UNI)
