Jaipur, Apr 27: Rajasthan, on Monday, registered 49 fresh cases of novel coronavirus, taking the total number of infections to 2,234 in the state. According to the Health Department, three people have succumbed to the virus in past 24 hours.

The state has so far witnessed 44 fatalities. According to the report released by the Medical Department, 19 new patients have emerged in Jaipur, six in Jodhpur, four in Kota, nine in Jhalawar, eight in Tonk and one each in Jaisalmer, Bhilwara and Ajmer.

The department, in its report, said that a 28-year-old youth from Surajpol, a 62-year-old woman from Mori, Heida and 24-year-old resident of Haji Colony, died in SMS Hospital during treatment, here. (UNI)
