John F. Kennedy

John F. Kennedy was the 35th President of the United States of America. He served as President from January 1961 until his assassination in November 1963. He served in both the US House of Representatives and the US Senate before he became President. He negotiated the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty and initiated the Alliance for Progress. In 1953, he met and married the beautiful Jacqueline Bouvier. They had three children Caroline, Patrick and John jr. John F. kennedy and Jackie made a handsome couple and were immensely popular worldwide.

He wrote a book Profiles in Courage which earned him the Pulitzer Prize for biography in 1957. He remains the only American President to have won the Pulitzer.
