Moga, Feb 22 : BKU Ekta president Joginder Singh Ugrahan said here on Saturday that about two dozen organisations, including farmers, students, farm-labourers, factory mazdoor unions, will be holding a week-long national level protest from February 24.

According to BKU Ekta president, the decision of holding national level protest was as per the resolution passed by the country level protest conference to observe a week-long protest at Malerkotla conference. During the protest, rallies and possessions would be organised at district level and village level throughout the country against the Modi Government's anti-peoples policy and pressing to withdraw the agitation of CAA, NRC and NPR.

He said the Modi government launched CAA, NRC and NPR simply to divert the attention of the people of the basic problems but people have pledged to fight against these anti-people’s policies of Modi government that wanted to divide the people of the country on religious level. He also said all the organisations of the country decided to intensify the agitation in the coming days until and unless the Centre repeal the CAA, NRC and NPR.

Mr Ugrahan also said that Modi government initiated all the anti-people’s policies to benefit the industrial houses and corporates of the country. (UNI)
