Ludhiana, Nov 27: Giving relief to Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh, a local court on Wednesday accepted the closure report of the vigilance bureau in the Ludhiana City Centre case.
The Court dismissed all the charges against all the accused, including Capt Amarinder, his son Raninder Singh and his son-in-law Raminder Singh.
While accepting the closure report moved by the vigilance bureau giving clean chit to Capt Amarinder Singh and all the accused, the court of Sessions Judge Gurbir Singh said no case of corruption had been made out against any of the accused.
There was no evidence against any accused, the judge ruled, adding that former chairman of Improvement Trust Paramjit Singh also did not indulge in corruption though he may be accused of disobeying the orders of his senior. (UNI)
