Punjab police recovers drone used by terror module near Attari

Amritsar, Sep 27 : The State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) of Punjab Police on Friday recovered a drone from Mahawa village near Attari on Friday.

The recovery was made by the SSOC on the basis of inputs provided by the arrested members of terror module of Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF), during the investigation.
An SSOC team, along with KZF activists Akashdeep and Shubhdeep, visited Mahawa on Friday morning and recovered the drone, hid by the duo in the bushes on the defence drain, near the village.

According to SSOC sources, the arrested KZF activists had confessed that they had hid the drone, used for carrying a consignment of arms, ammunition and explosives from Pakistan, at Mahawa village.

Punjab police have arrested seven members of the terror module, identified as Akashdeep, Balwant Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Baba Balbir Singh, Mann Singh, Gurdev Singh and Shubhdeep, till now, in the case. (UNI)
