Chandigarh, Aug 5 : Haryana Development and Panchayat Minister O P Dhankar said the government has imparted three-level and five-level pond system for the treatment of water of rural ponds which would be implemented in a phased manner and the treated water thus could be used for irrigation and other purposes.
Stating this while replying to a question raised during the second day of the Monsoon session of State Vidhan Sabha here on Monday, Mr Dhankar said as many as 18 works have been started in 16 villages of Gohana Assembly segment, out of which five have been completed and work on the remaining 11 is underway.
The Minister informed that through drone photography, he is monitoring the entire process. Even today, he has spoken to sarpanches of Gohana Assembly constituency on mobile. The complaint received of digging a pond in Handahedi village will be investigated, he added.(UNI)
