Puducherry, May 31 : The Puducherry administration will provide further relaxation in the lock- down rules as per the guidelines from the Central government, the Union Territory (UT) Chief minister V Narayanasamy said here on Sunday. In an audio message issued here on Sunday night after a cabinet meeting, the Chief Minster said all worship places will be allowed to open after June 8 in the UT and all shops could function till 2100 hours instead of the 1900 hours presently.
He said the lock-down will be there from 2100 hours to 0500 hours and the people will not be allowed to move on the roads during that time. People will be allowed to sit in the hotels and eat food from June 8 onwards and similarly shopping malls will also be opened. At all worship places, hotels, shopping malls and others mask and social distancing is a must, he added. (UNI)
