Puducherry, Feb 10: About 32 students of Government Higher Secondary School, Gandoh, Doda (Jammu & Kashmir) and 14 students of Government High School Kalta, Udhampur (Jammu & Kashmir) along with two School Staff and two Indo Tibetan Border Police Personnel who are under Bharat Darshan educational tour organized by the 15th Battalion of Indo Tibetan Border Police Force, Udhampur (Jammau & Kashmir) arrived in Puducherry on Monday.According to a Raj Nivas release, they made a courtesy call on Dr Kiran Bedi, Lt. Governor at Raj Nivas.

Greeting the students, the Lt. Governor said that wearing uniform will not only give them a patriotic feel, but also build their character for life.Through the Bharat Darshan, good education and playing sports will prepare them for joining armed forces to serve their country, she said. Most of these boys had never travelled in train before. They flew in from Delhi to Chennai and did bus journey in between. (UNI)
