Puducherry, Jan 28 : AIADMK legislature party leader A Anbazhagan on Tuesday said that it is not proper on the part of the government to re-convene the legislative assembly session on February 12 to adopt a resolution against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
Talking to news persons here, Mr Anbazhagan said that he got information that the session is being convened for the same purpose though, nothing was mentioned in the notification. This is under compulsion from the Congress Party, he claimed and added that Chief Minister V Narayanasamy is considering him as a political party leader rather than a CM.
He charged that the ‘tussle ‘ between the Chief Minister and Lt.Governor Kiran Bedi reached its peak and both are fighting like school children maligning the dignity of Puducherry at the National level. Hence, the Centre should re-call the Lt.Governor and suspend the government here for six months,he demanded. Mr Anbazhagan said he will write to Home Minister Amit Shah in this regard after taking permission from party high command. (UNI)
