Puducherry, Nov 5 : Lt.Governor Kiran Bedi on Tuesday maintained that rules apply to both the Chief Minister and herself.
Reacting to Chief Minister V Narayanasamy’s statement at a press conference earlier in the day that he do not want Ms Bedi to be a 'rubber stamp', but should function as per rules, the Lt Governor in a Whatsapp message said “yes indeed rules apply to both and bad and crude language and derogatory posters and lies are not part of the rules. Who is doing that”, she asked.
The Lt.Governor asked who is holding back Ministers from participating even when they want to come to Raj Nivas to meet her.
They come at night on scooter camouflaged, she said and asked do you know that they came. What rules are these, she wondered.
Ms Bedi also asked Mr Narayanasamy on who is directing officers not to be part of communication tools meant for grievance redressal and relief to people. (UNI)
