Puducherry, Dec 7: The Puducherry Legislative Assembly will re-assemble on December 14.
Legislative Assembly Secretary Vincent Rayer in a notification on Friday said the Assembly will re-assembled at 10 am on that day.
The session is likely to last for a day and is being convened to adopt a resolution condemning the Karnataka Government for its move to construct a dam at Mekwdatu across Cauvery river and to press the Union government to withdraw the permission granted to neighbouring state in this regard.
It may be noted that the AIADMK and DMK legislators resorted to a dharna inside the chamber of Speaker V Vaithilingam two days ago to press the convening of a special session of the territorial assembly. (UNI)
