Cyclone Amphan: Kejriwal offers help to CMs of W Bengal, Odisha

New Delhi, May 22 : Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday extended solidarity and support to Chief ministers of West Bengal and Odisha in the wake of the destruction caused by Cyclone Amphan.

In a tweet, Mr Kejriwal said, 'Dear @MamataOfficial didi, on behalf of the people of Delhi, I extend our full support and solidarity with you and the people of West Bengal in the wake of the destruction caused by #CycloneAmphan. Kindly let us know if we could help in any manner in this hour of crisis.' In another tweet, the Delhi Chief Minister said, 'Dear @Naveen_Odishaji, on behalf of the people of Delhi, I extend our full solidarity and support with you and the people of Odisha in the wake of the destruction caused by #CycloneAmphan.

Kindly let us know if we could help in any manner in this hour of crisis.' The extremely severe cyclonic storm ‘Amphan’ that killed at least 72 people left a trail of destruction in parts of West Bengal on Wednesday evening in both North and South Parganas districts. Over 44 lakh people in 12 coastal districts of Odisha were affected by the Cyclonic storm Amphan which hit the state on May 20. (UNI)
