Bhubneswar, Apr 28: Seven more corona positive cases were reported in Odisha during the last 24 hours taking the total covid 19 cases to 118 in the state.
According State Health and Family Welfare Department sources while four covid positive cases were reported from Rourkela in Sundargarh district, three more were tested positive in Bhadrak district.
With the seven fresh cases, the covid case in Bhadrak district has gone up to 19 and Sundargarh district accounted for 10 coronavirus positive cases.
All the three cases reported from Bhadrak are West Bengal returnee, two of them from Basudevpur block and one from Bonth block.
The district authority had already sealed the areas and declared them as Containment zone.
Similarly, the four positive cases reported from Sundargarh district belonged to Nala road in Rourkela which has already been declared as containment zone.
Official sources said so far 37 covid positive cases have been cured and discharged from the hospital in the state and one has died.
Odisha has now as many as 80 active cases who are undergoing treatment at various covid hospitals. (UNI)
