Bhubaneswar, Mar 17 : Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today appealed everyone coming from abroad to self register and help the government in tracking and monitoring to control Covid-19 situation in Odisha. Taking to his official tweeter handle, Mr Patnaik thanked the Gajapati Maharaj of Puri and his family members for self registering on the online portal of Covid-19 odisha.gov.in after returning from the United States.
Gajapati Maharaj and his family had registered on the online portal stating that they have returned from the United States on March 15 and were now in home isolation in their residence in the state capital for fourteen days. The Odisha government yesterday warned criminal action against those coming to the state from abroad and not registering themselves within 24 hours of their arrival. Anyone who comes to Odisha from abroad has to register himself/ herself compulsorily over the toll free number 104 or the online portal https://covid19.odisha.gov.in.(UNI)
