Pune, Jan 24: Dense fog is very likely to occur in isolated places of Odisha during the next 24 hours, predicted the India Meteorological Department today. It further said that rain or thundershowers had occurred at a few locales in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya during past 24 hours. They had also occurred at isolated portions in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, SubHimalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands during the period.
Dry weather prevailed over Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep during the period.
The lowest minimum temperature of 3.2 degree Celsius was recorded at Amritsar (Punjab) and Churu (west Rajasthan). (UNI)
