New Delhi, May 28 : With yet another sharp single-day spike of 6,556 infections, India's COVID-19 tally mounted to 1,58,323 on Thursday morning. Fatalities across the country have reached 4531 after 194 more patients lost their battle against the pandemic since Wednesday.
On the brighter side, the recovery front has witnessed a fresh addition of 3,266 cases taking the cured and discharged survivors to 67691 so far. According to the Health Ministry update this morning, a total of 86,110 cases are under active medical supervision after 3106 cases were added to this list since yesterday. (UNI)
