New Delhi, May 28 : The National Capital witnessed a hot day on Thursday, with maximum temperature settling at 45.9 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season's average. The minimum temperature was recorded at 29.6 degrees C, three notches above normal. According to the Met office, there is a possibility of light rain or drizzle during the evening.
Braving the heat, the policemen and the frontline workers fighting Covid, were seen working on roads and other places. Meanwhile, for Friday the weatherman has forecast thunderstorms with squall. On Friday, the Maximum and minimum temperature are likely to hover around at 40 and 29 degrees C, respectively. (UNI)
