New Delhi, May 26 : The Government is sending a central team soon to cyclone 'Amphan' ravaged Bengal to assess the extent of damage. Official sources on Tuesday said the Centre has assured the state government of 'all help' relating to relief and rehabilitation. " Priority will be accorded to the restoration of electricity and telecom services to help back the state to its feet," the sources said.
Cyclone 'Amphan' that hit Bengal and Odisha on May 20, had claimed 86 lives in Bengal besides mass destruction of property. More (UNI)
