New Delhi, May 8 : Railways Ministry on Friday ordered a probe into the death of 16 migrant workers after being hit by a freight train in Maharashtra's Aurangabad. 'Injured have been taken to Aurangabad Civil Hospital', the ministry said in a statement.
''During early hours today after seeing some labourers on track, loco pilot of goods train tried to stop the train but eventually hit them between Badnapur and Karmad stations in ParbhaniManmad section. The Injured have been taken to Aurangabad Civil Hospital. Inquiry has been ordered the ministry said. Sixteen migrant workers of a group of 21 were run over by a cargo train in Maharashtra's Aurangabad district earlier in the morning. (UNI)
