New Delhi, Mar 19 : Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday announced that 20 or more people will not be allowed to gather anywhere in the National Capital in view of COVID-19 outbreak.
Addressing the press conference here this evening, Mr Kejriwal said that gathering of persons more than 20 for any social, cultural, political, religious purpose or any purposes like academics, seminars, conferences and others is not allowed upto March 31. Mr Kejriwal has specially appealed to the senior citizens who gather together in mornings and evenings while walks and other activities to stay indoors in view of prevention of Coronavirus as the elderly are the most vulnerable lot when it comes to the COVID-19.
Earlier, he said that 50 or more people were not allowed to gather , however, in view of social distancing and to avoid gatherings to prevent the outbreak now the number has been reduced to 20 people. (UNI)
