Pune, Mar 10 : Night temperatures were above normal in some parts of east Rajasthan, madhya Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, west Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. Night temperatures were appreciably above normal in remaining parts of west Rajasthan, and Gujarat.

Night temperatures were below normal in some parts of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, and Gangetic West Bengal. Night temperatures were also below normal in remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh. Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi as well as in remaining parts of Gangetic West Bengal.

The lowest minimum temperature of 8 degrees Celsius was recorded at Narnaul in Haryana. Day temperatures were above normal in some parts of Tamil Nadu, and were appreciably above normal in some parts of Himachal Pradesh. Day temperatures were below normal in some parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Odisha, west Rajasthan, Konkan and Goa, madhya Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Saurashtra and Kutch, and Vidarbha.

Day temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh and Telangana. Day temperatures were also appreciably below normal in remaining parts of Tamil Nadu. Day temperatures were markedly below normal in some parts of east Rajasthan, and Gujarat. Day temperatures were also below normal in remaining parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, east Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.

The highest maximum temperature of 38 degrees Celsius was recorded at Beed in Maharashtra. Thunderstorms are very likely at isolated places over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha and Telangana. During next 24 hours, strong winds with speed reaching up to 45-55 kmph are very likely over the northeast Arabian Sea. Fishermen are advised not to venture into this area. In the past 24 hours, thunderstorms was observed at isolated places over eastern parts of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at many places in Vidarbha as well as at isolated places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Odisha, west Uttar Pradesh, east Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Mainly dry weather prevailed in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, madhya Maharashtra and Karnataka.
