Jyotiraditya Scindia’s meeting with Modi ends

The meeting between rebel Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia with Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ended by 11.30 am on Tuesday.

After the meeting, Jyotiraditya Scindia left Modi’s residence along with the Home Minister Amit Shah. Anytime soon, a big political announcement may be expected. Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh leader Digvijay Singh said that the Congress government in the State will stay in power.

Earlier, in the morning hours of Tuesday, sending shockwaves to Congress camps, rebellious Congress leader from Madhya Pradesh Jyotiraditya Scindia reached at the residence of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with Home Minister Amit Shah.

Top political sources said that Jyotiraditya Scindia, sidelined by Madhya Pradesh Congress for a long time, may switch over to BJP on Monday itself. Speculations were rife on Scindia leaving Congress as he sent his 20 MLAs to Bengaluru as part of intensifying his war against Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath, an old war-horse of Congress who is also a close associate of Congress Highcommand.

March 10 is the birth anniversary of Jyotiraditya Scindia's father and former Congress top leader Madhavrao Scindia. So, it is expected that Jyotiraditya Scindia may come out with some big decision on his father's birthday.
