New Delhi, Mar 3 : Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discussed the situation of the National Capital after the recent violence left 47 dead besides preventive measures taken against deadly Coronavirus.
After the meeting that took place on the Parliament premises, Mr Kejriwal termed the discussion 'fruitful' adding he has requested the Prime Minister that the guilty must be brought to book and strict punishment awarded to them. Referring to the incident of rumour mongering on Sunday, he appreciated the Delhi Police’s action in handling the situation tactfully.
Mr Kejriwal also said the necessary steps should be taken to prevent the spread of the deadly coronavirus as many suspected cases have come up so far. (UNI)
