Pune, Feb 22 : Night temperatures were above normal in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, east Rajasthan, Gujarat region, Vidarbha and coastal Karnataka. Night temperatures were appreciably above normal in some parts of Uttar Pradesh, western parts of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and east Madhya Pradesh.

Night temperatures were also above normal in remaining parts of Uttar Pradesh, western parts of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, madhya Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu. Night temperatures were markedly above normal in some parts of Bihar as well as in remaining parts east Madhya Pradesh. Night temperatures were below normal in some parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, south interior Karnataka, Odisha and Telangana.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in remaining parts of Odisha and Telangana. The lowest minimum temperature of 7.5 degrees Celsius was recorded at Narnaul in Haryana. Thunderstorm accompanied with hailstorm very likely at isolated places over Chhattisgarh, Bihar, eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Assam and Meghalaya. During next 24 hours, strong wind with speed reaching up to 45-55 kmph very likely over Gulf of Mannar and Comorin area. Fishermen are advised not to venture in the above areas. The places of Tikamgarh and Khajuraho had 50 meter visibility whereas Tadong, Gwalior, Datia, Satna and Rewa recorded 200 meter visibility.(UNI)
