New Delhi, Feb 12 : Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal will take oath as the Delhi Chief Minister for the third consecutive time at the Ramlila Maidan, here on February 16, party senior leader Manish Sisodia said. Addressing the mediapersons a day after his party registered a thumping victory in the Delhi Assembly election, Mr Sisodia said, 'The entire cabinet will be sworn in along with Kejriwal." The newly elected MLAs of the AAP have officially elected Mr Kejriwal as the leader of their legislative party.
'The AAP government's work has been acknowledged. Real nationalism is providing water and education to the poor,' he said. 'I appeal to you all is to reach Ramlila Maidan from 1000 hrs to bless your son and encourage him,' he added. The AAP registered a landslide victory in the Delhi Assembly polls, winning 62 of the total 70 seats.
While the BJP won only eight seats, the Congress drew a blank for the second consecutive time. (UNI)
