New Delhi, Feb 9: Soon after the Exit Polls predicted the return to power by the Aam Admi Party (AAP) in Delhi with a sweeping majority, the Bhartiya Janata Party President JP Nadda on Saturday convened a meeting of Delhi BJP leaders, including the Union Minister and Delhi In-charge of the Prakash Jawadekar, a BJP source said.
Those who are attending the meeting, being held at Delhi BJP office at Pandit Pant Marg, include party’s co- incharge for Delhi and the Union Ministers of State Hardeep Singh Puri and Nityanand Rai . Senior leader of the Delhi BJP and Rajya Sabha Member Vijay Goel and State BJP Chief Manoj Tiwari are also attending the meeting.
Voting for the assembly polls in Delhi was held here on Saturday and all Exit Polls have been suggesting that the ruling party Aam Admi Party (AAP) will come back to power with a sweeping majority. A senior party leader on condition of anonymity, said that this is a normal process which is done by the party leadership to evaluate party's prospects in every seat after the conclusion of the polling process .
