Replying to question of the BJP lawmaker Rupa Ganguly in the Upper House that whether India had offered a help in evacuating Pakistani students from Wohan, Mr Jaishankar said that India has offered evacuation to all students of all neighbouring countries and under that offer, seven students from Maldives were airlifted by Air India Flight along with Indian students.
The Minister also said that there are 80 Indian students still left in Wuhan.
He said that these students came to Wuhan airport but ten of them were having fever at that time. Therefore, the Chinese authorities did not allow them to fly. The remaining 70 students also decided to stay with them.
