New Delhi, Jan 29 : Noted poll strategist Prashant Kishor and senior Janta Dal (United) leader Pavan K Varma on Wednesday thanked Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, but in a sarcastic tone, after they were expelled from the party for their alleged anti-party activities.
"Thank you Mr Nitish Kumar. My best wishes to you to retain the chair of Chief Minister of Bihar. God bless you," Kishor tweeted just minutes after he was expelled from the party. Varma was, however, little bit more sarcastic in his tone of 'gratitude'.
In his tweet, he took a jibe at Bihar CM saying he was thankful for expulsion as Nitish Ji freed him from an increasingly untenable position of defending Nitish Kumar and his policies. "I wish you well in your ambition of being CM of Bihar at any cost' he tweeted.
Both senior leaders were expelled, earlier today, from the party for their alleged statements that were critical of the party's policies and leadership. (UNI)
