New Delhi, Jan 29 : Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Wednesday filed a complaint in Election Commission against Union Home Minister Amit Shah and other Bharatiya Janata Party leaders for tarnishing it's image by allegedly posting concocted videos.
"Mr Amit Shah, his MPs of Delhi and other leaders in their public utterances made false claims that nothing has been done by Aam Aadmi Party government for the betterment of the government schools in Delhi", the complaint filed by AAP leader Sanjay Singh and party national secretary Pankaj Gupta read. "Mr Shah, along with his party MPs, in a well planned manner, with ulterior motive to spread false propaganda against Mr Arvind Kejriwal, Mr Manish Sisodia and AAP, manufactured and published false and fabricated videos on twitter and other media platforms", it further read.
AAP, in their complaint, alleged that all these 'fake' videos were posted and shared by Mr Shah through his verified twitter handle on January 28, which was widely shared by many people including his MPs who made these videos. Drawing the attention of Election Commission on point 4 of General conduct of Model Code of Conduct rules, AAP urged the EC to direct Mr Shah and other BJP leaders to remove these videos.(UNI)
