New Delhi, Jan 10: The ruling BJP on Friday stepped up attack on the Congress for the death of infants in a state-run hospital in Kota in Rajasthan where the grand old party is in power and dared Priyanka Gandhi to visit the town.
"Mein poochta hoon, Kota kab jaegi ...(My question is to Priyanka Gandhi, when will she go to Kota)?," BJP spokesman Sambit Patra told reporters here. He said the Congress stand on secularism and other issues is always 'one way' and that is "selective". "Priyanka Gandhiji, I ask you directly on camera, when will you go to Kota. I give you Kota challenge. I want you to reach Kota by this evening," the BJP spokesman said directing his remarks to the Congress general secretary Piyanka Gandhi - who has been traveling various parts of Uttar Pradesh including Prime Minister's constituency Varanasi.
"Aap bhi maa hae (You are also a mother)," he remarked and said she should take a 'dead infant' on her lap and demand resignation of Ashok Gehlot as Rajasthan Chief Minister. "You take a dead infant in your arms and demand Mr Gehlot's resignation. You please do this". In this context, the BJP leader also flayed 'other liberals' for staying away from commenting on the death of the infants or visiting Kota. (UNI)
