New Delhi, Dec 2: After reports of a security breach at the Delhi home of Congress leader Priyanka gandhi vadra, Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy on Monday said that he will discuss it with his officers.
"I don't know the details yet. I will discuss it with my officers," Mr Reddy responded to a question by mediapersons on the reported security breach, which happened on November 25.
According to sources, a car with five people from Uttar Pradesh entered into Ms Priyanka's home in high security area of Lodhi Garden and asked the latter for photograph with them.
Sources also said that the Congress general secretary's office had already made a complaint with the CRPF, which is giving protection for her, brother Rahul Gandhi and their mother and Congress president Sonia Gandhi.
The purported incident happened a week after the Narendra Modi government had removed the cover of Special Protection Group (SPG) for the Gandhi-Nehru family, after the revision of threat perception.
Ms Sonia, Mr Gandhi and Ms Priyanka are under Z+ security cover by the CRPF.
Successive Union governments had provided SPG protection for the Gandhi-Nehru family members after former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated in 1991 by Sri Lankan terror group LTTE. (UNI)
