New Delhi, Dec 1 : Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday congratulated party leader and SC/ST rights activist Udit Raj for holding a rally to protest against various issues including privatisation and growing unemployment.
'Many many congratulations for the success of the rally organised on December 11 by Udit raj ji on the question like reservation in growing unemployment, privatisation, reservation in private places and judiciary,' Mr Gandhi said in Facebook post.
Mr Udit Raj organised to raise the issues of privatisation, unemployment, EVM tampering and the 'threat to Constitution and democracy', which the BJP government has not been able to address.
Mr Raj, the former MP from northwest Delhi had quit BJP earlier this year after being denied ticket to contest the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
He also congratulated to BSF soldiers and their families on BSF's Raising Day. 'You are all an example of courage, service and sacrifice for the country. We are proud of BSF,' he said in his post. (UNI)
