New Delhi, Nov 30 : Over the alleged misbehaviour by Delhi Police on Saturday with a woman protestor who wanted to stage her protest outside parliament house against the atrocities on women post the Hyderabad' veterinary doctor incident, the police has said that the allegations of misbehaviour against Anu Dubey will be investigated by a senior woman police officer.
The police said that it was explained to Anu Dubey that the area is a sensitive and prohibited zone for such protests, however, when she did not follow the instructions, she had to be taken away by woman police officers. She was later released, the police added.
After Dubey's detention at the police station, a team from Delhi Commission for Women led by chief Swati Maliwal reached the police station. DCW also issued a notice to the Delhi Police in the matter of alleged misbehaviour with the female and her detention by Delhi Police for protesting against the horrific rape incident of Hyderabad.
