Ahmedabad, Nov 23 : Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) working president J P Nadda on Saturday asserted that the newly formed Devendra Fadnavis led BJP coalition government in Maharashtra would be a 'stable' one.
His comments came a few hours after Mr Fadnavis took oath as Maharashtra Chief Minister with the support of faction of NCP led by Ajit Pawar, which is being termed as one of the biggest political surprises of the recent times. Nadda, who arrived here to participate in an event told newsmen that the Fadanavis government would be stable one. 'The government will be a stable one. It will expedite the development of Maharashtra. I congratulate Devendraji (Fadnavis) and the people of the state.' Nadda said during his brief interaction with media.
Nadda is here to participate in the inaugural session of the 'Youth Parliament of India 2019' event being held in Karnavati University's new campus near Gandhinagar. The two day event has been termed as a forum for democratic dialogues. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Gujarat Home Minister Pradipsinh Jadeja would also participate in the inaugural event. UNI
