Former Maharashtra Chief Minister and the senior leader of the Congress Ashok Chavan has said that the Congress will go to Mumbai to discuss the alliance with Shiv Sena on Friday.
He was talking to the media after the conclusion of the Congress and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) discussion on the common minimum programme (CMP) for making alliance between the two parties. He categorically said that all decisions regarding the alliance have taken between the NCP and Congress.
Now, both Congress and NCP will make discussion with Shiv Sena in Mumbai on Friday to make alliance. Ashok Chavan said that the Power sharing talks are still going on, but made it clear that the Congress did not insist on the Chief Minister post.
