In a first, Mamata Banerjee, Chief Minister of West Bengal, has slammed All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader Asasuddin Owaisi for criticising Ayodhya verdict.

Owaisi had flayed Ayodhya Verdict by Surpeme Court as incomplete. Mamata warned that Owisi’s stand is ‘minority extremism’ and she warns party workers against ‘minority extremism’ while speaking in Coochbehar.

“I am watching that there are some extremists among minorities. They have their base in Hyderabad. Don’t listen to them”, she told her party workers without naming any party. Political analysts say that she was taking about Asaduddin Owaisi of AIMIM.
