Nationalist Congress leader Sharad Pawar has met Congress leader Sonia Gandhi in Delhi on Monday. Both leaders discussed the current political scenario for an hour-long discussion held at Sonia’s residence in Delhi.
In his brief meeting with media, NCP leader got engaged mostly in cryptic replies. We did not discuss common minimum programme and did not discuss about government formation in Maharashtra, Pawar answered a query by media while he was coming out after a meeting Sonia Gandhi.
“I don't know about this 170 figure by Sena. You should have asked them (Shiv Sena),” Pawar said on a question asked about Shiv Sena's claim of support of 170 MLAs.
“This meeting was all about discussing matters of Congress and NCP,” Pawar said when asked if Sonia is opposed to an alliance with the Shiv Sena.
