The ten-member strong Jannayak Janata Party(JJP) leader Dushyant Chautala will meet BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday night, says a report by IndiaToday TV.
On Friday, Dushyant Chautala has made it clear that neither BJP nor Congress is untouchable to his party. Knowing the mindset of Dushyant, who won 10 assembly seat in Haryana, BJP central leaders decided to make a discussion with Chautala. Earlier, BJP’s move to form government in Haryana with the support of a controversial independent MLA Gopal Kanda kicked up a controversy.
Many from both opposition and in-house accused BJP for the move as Gopal Kanda is an accused abetting suicide of a former airline employee Geetika Sharma and later her mother. Gopal Kanda who was a minister then, had to spend one year in jail for abetting suicide of Geetika Sharma.
Geetika's brother also accused BJP for the move to form government in Haryana with the backing of Gopal Kanda. BJP leader Uma Bharati warned BJP on the decision. The immense pressure put BJP on backfoot on the issue. While BJP leaders were rethinking on the issue, JJP leader came forward with an offer. Based on this, some sources said that Dushyant Chautala will meet Amit Shah in Delhi on Friday night. It is learnt that Dushyant Chautala has demanded Deputy CM post and two ministerial berth as a pre condition to support BJP in Haryana.
