New Delhi, Oct 24 : The BJP's highest policy making body, the Parliamentary Board, in a late evening meeting authorised party chief Amit Shah on Thursday to take all necessary steps and decisions regarding government formation in Haryana and Maharashtra.
The meeting also attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi broadly suggested that there will be no change of Chief Minister in either of the state. Sources said Mr Shah, also the Union Home Minister, may fly to Mumbai and talk to Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray to finalise the modalities for formation of the new government.
Both Mr Shah and Prime Minister Modi earlier credited Mr Khattar and Mr Fadnavis for the party's 'success' in elections in these two states. (UNI)
