New Delhi, Oct 17: Continuing his attack on the NDA Government on the current state of the indian economy, former Finance Minister and senior Congress leader P Chidambaram on Thursday said that India’s rank of 112 out of 117 countries in the Global Hunger index shows that there is serious Hunger in the country.

In a series of tweets posted on his behalf by his family, Mr Chidambaram also said that the decrease in the per capita consumption in rural and urban areas meant that the poor are consuming less.
