New Delhi, Oct 12 : The Indian Youth Congress (IYC) on Saturday staged a protest outside the official residence of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, alleging that the Government was misusing constitutional institutions against Congress party's prominent leaders.

The police restricted the protesters on their way by barricading the Safdarjung road and detained them.

Alleging that the government had started misusing government bodies to seek pity vengeance on Congress leaders, the protesters said that Modi-government had absolutely failed in all spheres of governance, that's why they are misusing constitutional institutions like IT, CBI and ED against Congress prominent leaders.
Leading the protest, Srinivas B V, the national president of IYC said, " The BJP needs to stop stooping down to such low levels, where they are picking up on individuals and targeting them on their political inclinations."

" We live in the largest democracy of the world, where every individual has the freedom to choose his/her political path," Mr Srinivas said.(UNI)
