New York, Sep 25 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Wednesday have crucial Round Table meet with CEOs from as many as 45 noted global companies here.
This will be the second such meet - after the first Round Table meeting he held with top representatives and CEOs from companies from the oil and energy sector on Saturday at Houston. In the CEOs meet, Indian officials are expecting top representatives and industry captains from big time corporate players such as Microsoft, Google, Cisco, Blackstone Group, Bank of America, Qualcomn Technology, USIBC, AES Corporation, Deloitte, IBM, Lynx, JP Morgan and Chase, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts and Co, Lockheed Martin, Marriott International and Mastercard Financial Services.
Prime Minister Modi is in on a week long tour of the United States and will address the UN General assembly on Friday, September 27.
During his stay, he has held a series of bilateral engagements with global leaders including the US President Donald Trump.
Among his other engagements, Mr Modi has been conferred the prestigious Global Goalkeeper Award by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, recognising the progress India has made in providing safe sanitation under his stewardship.
Mr Modi received the award for Swacch Bharat Mission and dedicated it to crores of Indians who worked for the world's biggest sanitation programme. Mr Modi said, 'What matters to me is that 130 crore Indians who have worked towards Swachh Bharat and made 'Swachh Bharat' a mass movement.' (UNI)
