New York, Sep 25: Making a strong pitch for investment in India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday invited global business leaders to make India their new and sole destination.
''India is waiting for you, India is the only destination for you,'' Mr Modi told the business leaders at the Bloomberg Global Business Forum.
''I would like to tell all of you from this stage that we have made a beginning and we have a long way to go and in this journey, the partnership between India and the world business offers a golden opportunity,'' he said.
Mr Modi said revolutionary changes are being brought in economic field to make the overall business atmosphere suitable for foreign companies.
''We have opened our defence sector like never before. If you want to Make in India, for India and for the world, come to India. We are rapidly modernising our cities, and equipping them with latest technology and citizen friendly infrastructure. Thus if you want to invest in urbanisation, come to India,'' he said.
The Prime Minister said,'' Your rational ways and our human values can show the path which the world is looking for. And if there is any gap anywhere; I will personally act as a bridge.''
Mr Modi said in seven indicators out of 10 --Political stability, Currency stability, High quality products, Anti-corruption, Low cost of production, Strategic location and respect for IPR-- India is number one and soon soon major improvement in other indicators too.
''Your prudent Method and our pragmatic mind can write new stories in management,'' Mr Modi said in presence of Industry captains including Michael Rubens of Bloomberg.
Mr Modi said the western desires and Indian dreams match perfectly and also in similar paradigm, the western technology combined with Indian talents and the western scale and the Indian skills can speed up global economic growth.
The Prime Minister also said India at present offers world's largest infrastructure ecosystem and thus the timing is apt to invest in India.
Inviting the global business leaders to India, Mr Modi said, ''I will be waiting for you to welcome you all in my country.''

He also said the start-ups offer with a huge market and thus it is advisable to western companies to take advantage of the same.
''If you want to invest in a market where the latest trends and features are appreciated, come to India: If you want to invest in a market where there is scale, come to India,'' he maintained.
The Prime Minister said India has improved a lot in 'ease of doing business' index and the 'New India' he has envisioned will have deregulation, delicensing and removing bottlenecks.
''In the last five years, there has been an inflow of $286 billion FDI and this is more than the total FDI inflow of last 20 years. (UNI)
