Pune, Sep 19 : During the next 24 hours, squally weather is likely in southeast Bay of Bengal hence fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas.

Heavy to very heavy rainfall with very likely at isolated places over Konkan and Goa, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Madhya Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Rayalaseema,Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Gujarat state, Marathwada, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala,Mahe, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh.

Southwest monsoon has been vigorous over Rayalaseema whereas it's active over east Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra,Goa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, north interior Karnataka,and Kerala.

Southwest monsoon has subdued over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam,Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Haryana.

Thunderstorm is very likely at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam,Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal and Odisha.

From 0830 hrs Wednesday to 0830 hrs Thursday, thunderstorm was observed at isolated places over Jammu and Kashmir, east Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Assam,Meghalaya, Madhya Pradesh, west Rajasthan, Gujarat State, Konkan and Goa, madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Odisha, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, north interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at many places in east Uttar Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Gujarat region, Marathwada, Telangana, north and south interior Karnataka,and Lakshadweep.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at isolated places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, west Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh,Tamil Nadu,Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan,and Saurashtra and Kutch.
