New Delhi, Sep 9: The principal Opposition parties in India and Nepal - the Indian National Congress and the Nepali Congress - on Monday held an informal discussion here, on various aspects of the Indo-Nepal friendship.
"Both the parties also discussed current politics in the respective nations", sources said.
The Congress was represented by former Union Minister and party Working Committee member RPN Singh, party Spokespersons Jaiveer Shergill and Rajeev Tyagi, apart from Congress co-convenor Sanjay Chandok.
From Nepali Congress, Members of Parliament and party's central committee members - Narayan Khadka, Dilendra Badu and Uday Shamsher Rana participated, sources said. (UNI)
