Jammu, Sep 8: Pakistan Army on Sunday fired unprovoked by shelling small arms and mortars for the second consecutive day along the Line of Control in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir.
"Pak troops this morning at around 1000 hours fired unprovoked in Sunderbani and Nowshera sectors and violated the ceasefire," Defence Spokesperson here said.
He said that Pakistan initiated ceasefire violation by firing of small arms and shelling with mortars in Sunderbani and Nowshera Sectors.
"Indian Army is retaliating befittingly to the firing," said the Spokesperson.
Earlier on Saturday, Pakistan violated the ceasefire twice in a day by firing unprovoked along the Line of Control in Krishna Ghati and Poonch sectors. (UNI)
